TAIJI QUAN ( Tai Chi )
Tai Chi is famous for its health benefits and is often recommended as the ideal exercise for old people, or for people recovering from injury or disease. But Tai chi is also a very effective fighting art. Our course uses the yang style Beijing 24 form as the basis for the study of tai chi techniques, movement principals and combat applications.
Included in the course is:
- Foundation taiji warm-up sequence (Martial Yoga)
- Taiji Stepping for all the Beijing 24 techniques
- The complete Beijing 24 sequence
- Combat applications of all the techniques
The course is downloaded in 3 increments, each increment followed by an evaluation of form and function.
